A few weeks ago, my husband and I decided it was time to really get serious about the home office and think of ways it could turn out practical and relaxing to spend time in.
The vision began.
We made a plan, lists, and found inspirational photos (okay, okay, I did all of that.. he just signed off on the bigger changes and color selection) haha
So, come along with us on our quaint office remodel.
Here are some before shots of our "free for all" room that collected about everything.. from bikes, to art, to coolers, & more art.
So, the paint color was selected, the room was prepped for painting and the layout was decided on!
Benjamin Moore: Palladian Blue
After we tackled the walls, and by "WE" I MEAN I :)
WE MOVED ONTO PAINTING SOME OF THE EXISTING PIECES TO TRY AND reuse WHAT WE HAD!
In addition to painted existing pieces, I also found some awesome items on an online yardsale! :) Not all them needed work, but this amazing cork board I found, got a little lovin' with Sheepskin colored chalk paint!
Next up, was creating floating shelves in the office for client folders, books and cute accessories of course!
And I loved how the stain we selected turned out! It was exactly what I had envisioned..

With a few other changes and product bought for the office,

It's now an office that can host creativity and productivity! Let us know what you think of our makeover! :)
