A holly, jolly Christmas tour ..

Happy December 1st, y'all! I cannot believe this season is already here! This year has absolutely flown by for our family. We have experienced so much change and goodness in the past 12 months. Going into this Christmas and holiday season, our hope is that yours is full of joy, love, peace and sweet memories! .. okay, now pour another cup of coffee, grab a blanket and keep scrolling.

Join me on this little holiday tour of our home!

We kept the front door and porch simple and classic.

And meet one of our cute little greeters, Ryleigh (the golden retriever) :)

I loved that we were able to purchase our wreath from a local tree stand here at the beach that donates its entire profit to local charities! It always makes the purchase even sweeter.

The 'P' stocking is my favorite! It still seems surreal that we have a little one for the holidays and that this is her 2nd Christmas with us! Time sure does fly by way. too. fast.

Next to hers, are her brothers (fur brothers) stockings, awaiting their bones and goodies from Santa.

Our Christmas tree is full of very special ornaments and memories! Hanging those on the tree as a family (yes, Kevin insisted Piper HELP US) .. was one of my favorite nights so far! :)

Just like the front door, we kept the mantle and decor inside simple and classic. My husband would not let me move the sound bar from the mantle, sooooo... what's a girl to do? Design OVER it of course! ;) The garland is actually clippings from the tree stand (where we purchased our wreath and Christmas tree). They were sweet enough to let me raid the huge pile of leftovers for a few spare limbs for decorating with!

More tree clippings shown here.. in a beautiful vase we have had and used throughout the year in our home!

This Christmas pillow was one of the very few things we purchased this year for decor. I saw it in Target and just had to have it! I wanted it to be the base of our holiday decorations and color palette.

Next up.. our quaint dining area off the living room..

I was able to use salad plates that we had to layer to our everyday white china for another simple table setting, that added JUST enough Christmas to this area..

With a few berry accents on the napkins, mixed with the gold silverware, it's the perfect little coastal holiday setting!

How easy is this!? Go grab some pine cones from outside and throw them in a textured bowl or vase! I love the dimension this little combination adds (with the woven basket).

The rest of the rooms in the house still need a little Christmas cheer, but for now, I'm going to bask in this season we are in and enjoy moments with my girl. (And also count how many time she will pull the ornaments off the tree and throw them at her brothers).

Thank you for joining me on this holly, jolly Christmas tour of our home! I can't wait to see some of your holiday decor in YOUR homes and see just how you're using simple items in and around your home to dress up the simplest spaces!

Merry, merry Christmas you guys! Stay tuned for lots of new goodies this coming year!
